We are a group of medics and health professionals based in the UK, who like riding motorbikes. Bikes of all kinds, all ages and all levels of reliability, but the important thing is we like riding motorbikes.
What do we do?
Generally we meet twice a year as a club. Thus far we have had meetings in much of the country from Devon to Dumfries and Northern Ireland to Norfolk. Travelling from all corners, we meet at a hotel on a Friday night, go for a ride on the Saturday, and depart on the Sunday. We usually split into groups to accommodate all speeds and types of riding. We ride to the "Marker System" so there is absolutely no need for anyone to go faster than they wish or to try and "keep up".
We also have a club band who play at our meetings, making them quite an occasion. Some meetings involve "extensions". In the past we have travelled to France, and a group has done the End to End (Land's End to John'O'Groats). Details of forthcoming meetings are here.
In the meantime, we get together informally from time to time for local rides ("lites" and "shivers").
How do we keep in touch?
We have an e-mail list where members can exchange messages and keep in touch. To subscribe to the e-mail list, please contact us, tell us a bit about yourself and we'll get you joined up. There is also a Facebook group.
